Latvian celebrity chef Martins is well known and loved for his creative approach to culinary arts. After growing up in Dikļi, a small town in northern Latvia, he graduated from the Smiltene Technical College.
As well as co-owning 11 restaurants, Martins has also gained success presenting a Latvian TV cooking show CULT FOOD for five years where he introduces international cuisine. He has also published several cookbooks, co-writing a kids’ fairytale cookbook called "The White Bear," published in 2017.
Martins is a true food lover who appreciates aesthetics in the kitchen and loves to visit his favourite food vendors at the local market, to have a daily chat and get to know them to help choose the freshest, best-quality products.
