Sean Gravina is a dynamic chef. His simple yet creative take on food is exciting and unpretentious. An ITS graduate, Sean started his career cooking for staff at The Hilton, Malta. When a friend approached him to run the kitchen at a local restaurant, Chez Philippe, he took the opportunity and got to work creating a fresh and tantalising menu.
Sean's passion for food drove him to look past his shores and to keep expanding his culinary knowledge. While studying at one of the world’s best culinary schools, Le Cordon Bleu, he specialised in French cuisine at Clos Maggiore in Covent Garden. Once he had graduated, he joined Gordon Ramsey's Michelin Star restaurant Maze, where he began to enjoy the uninhibited desire to push boundaries with food. Before returning to Malta, he worked at CUT London, run by celebrity chef Wolfgang Puk. He has presented multiple TV cooking shows in Malta and was a quarter finalist on Master Chef Professionals UK in 2014. Today, you’ll find Sean running his own restaurant Crust Bar & Bistro in the heart of St Julians.
